Georgia Nielsen
Managing Director
(she/her)
Georgia is a communications leader with a strong track record of setting strategic direction and delivering results in large complex organisations. She’s energised by obstacles and her ability to transform them into opportunities.
With more than a decade of professional experience across communication, marketing, campaign management, philanthropy and events, she knows what it takes to set up communication teams for success and deliver on purposeful strategies.
She’s an expert storyteller who’s skilled at content strategy and telling compelling corporate narratives.
With extensive experience working directly with and writing for senior executives, Georgia is skilled at providing constructive advice and setting communication strategies that respond to internal briefs.
Before moving into consulting, Georgia managed a team of 15 communicators in the Higher Education sector working across corporate and executive communication, customer communication, tone of voice, social media, staff communication, content creation, and change projects. Georgia has worked in-house for the University Technology Sydney, The Australian National University, Sydney Symphony and Microsoft.
Driven by continuous improvement, Georgia has a passion for inspiring others to aim for best-practice through capability uplift and harnessing their individual strengths. She’s shared this passion with hundreds of people through workshops on customer-centric communication and writing with clarity.
As a Gallup® Certified Strengths Coach, she loves to help people discover what makes them exceptional and enable teams to thrive. She uses some of her top CliftonStrengths (competition, relator, communication, empathy, woo, command) to deliver engaging, meaningful and valuable workshops.
Ruby Seaward
Senior Strategist

Ruby is our in-house innovator. Whether she’s developing novel solutions to client problems or inventing systems to improve communications, she is driven by a commitment to exceptional client and audience experience.
Ruby is particularly skilled in bringing diverse groups together to sensitively and pragmatically guide stakeholders through complex landscapes, balance competing priorities and foster collaboration.
Passionate about tackling intricate problems, she thrives on uncovering root causes and reimagining solutions. She loves diving deep into complex systems to find smarter, more effective ways forward.
With extensive experience in communication strategy for behaviour change, customer journey mapping and retention campaign strategy and execution in large and complex university and local government contexts, Ruby is driven by audience research and insights to deliver meaningful change.
Ruby also brings her background in jewellery and object design and production to her communication practice, where concepts are prototyped, tested, refined and delivered.
Anita Dawson
Senior Strategist

Anita is Inkfield’s resident problem-solver. A big thinker by nature, when others see an issue, she sees multiple opportunities.
She’s passionate about delivering personalised, creative and genuine solutions to her audience's problems by employing design techniques.
With most of Anita's experience in delivering communication and content strategy for large-scale cultural change programs and events across Australia’s Higher Education sector, she’s highly skilled at diagnosing problems and setting impactful strategies to address them.
From digital to experiential storytelling, Anita is an expert at crafting content that connects with her audience. She also has extensive experience coaching and ghost-writing for senior leaders on highly influential topics.
With a wealth of experience across corporate journalism, content strategy, digital marketing, communication project strategy and management, publications, experiential marketing, customer experience and community building she is skilled at working across traditional functions inside large organisations and facilitating collaboration.
Before joining Inkfield, Anita led communications on high-profile programs, including:
the launch and integration of UTS’s long-term strategic plan, and
the Good Design Award-winning Respect.Now.Always. campaign to eliminate sexual violence at universities through whole-of-community engagement and participatory design.
As well as her work with Inkfield, Anita shares her time and energy in other exciting fields, including human-centred design, and on her own passion projects.
Kate Elton
Senior Strategic Designer
(she/her)
Curious by nature, Kate is particularly interested in how values-based design and collaborative design processes can help people navigate complex challenges and create meaningful paths forward. Having fun is one of her core values and something she brings to every project she works on.
She specialises in participatory and human-centred design approaches, bringing people together to co-create pathways that are thoughtful, practical and grounded in lived experience.
Kate’s expertise spans the fields of strategic design, service design, industrial design, visual communication and design research. Over her 14+ years of experience she has worked with partners across the public sector, academia and industry, including Legal Aid NSW, The Office of Responsible Gambling, UTS Respect.Now.Always., Australian Defence Force, NSW Justice, the Bribery Prevention Network and the Australian Human Rights Commission.
Alongside her design practice, Kate has spent the past decade teaching design and transdisciplinary subjects at the University of Technology Sydney. She is also a passionate member of the broader design community, having acted as a jury member for international design awards including the Australian Good Design Awards and the Taiwan International Student Design Awards. In 2021 she appeared as a presenter and expert design judge on Season 4 of Australia By Design: Innovations.
Fostering good mental health and helping people to see their own strength is something Kate is particularly passionate about. In 2015, she wrote and published a pocket-sized book called ‘The Little Book for Big Worries’ for managing anxiety which has since sold over 600 copies.
Outside of Inkfield, she’s also a knitting genius.
Alysson Zamora
Strategic Communications Consultant

Alysson is a storyteller at heart. She loves connecting with other people and learning what they’re passionate about.
With a diverse background in communications, marketing and photography, she blends her creativity with a strategic lens to deliver client-focused solutions.
Before joining Inkfield, Alysson worked in higher education, where she led high-performing multi-channel campaigns that drove student engagement, fostered community and streamlined processes.
She’s passionate about turning complex ideas into clear, compelling messages, leveraging digital content, social media strategy, and visual storytelling to engage audiences in meaningful ways.
She uses some of her top strengths (developer, adaptability, empathy, communication, positivity) to make communication authentic and impactful, ensuring that every project delivers real value to both clients and audiences.
Outside of Inkfield, Alysson is a passionate photographer and creative who loves telling stories through the lens and using her curiosity to drive her work.
Maddison Hompot
Operations Manager

Maddison is a highly-organised and personable problem-solver who thrives on bringing structure and efficiency to Inkfield’s dynamic work environment.
As Georgia’s partner in crime, she’s an invaluable source of support, energy and ideas.
With an insatiable thirst for learning and growth, Maddie has an impressive and diverse background that includes bachelors’ degrees in health science and in midwifery, and extensive experience in hospitality and customer service.
Before joining Inkfield, Maddison worked closely with individuals in hands-on roles where she developed a deep understanding of individualised care and service. Her ability to connect with people and deliver a tailored approach ensures that every interaction is both seamless and meaningful.
As a reflective and inquisitive thinker, she brings great wisdom, deep insight and excellent book recommendations to the team.
Outside of work, Maddie finds balance through movement, nature and mindfulness.
